Juan Bautista de Garaicoechea, de este comercio y vecindad, dijo que por cuanto a don Manuel Tavera, de esta vecindad, le ha conferido el Tribunal Nacional del Consulado de Veracruz, el destino de recaudador del ramo del peaje en este departamento, que estuvo vacante por fallecimiento de don Manuel de Baena; y restando solo para tomar posesión del destino, prestar la fianza que se le exige de 1 000 pesos; y queriendo hacerle este servicio; otorga que se constituye fiador y principal pagador por el mencionado provisto colector del peaje don Manuel Tavera, en tal manera que este cumplirá con las obligaciones que le incumben.
