Don Juan Sánchez de Tovar, presbítero, vecino de esta ciudad, de quien se recibió juramento, dijo que conoce a María de la Candelaria y conoció a su difunto marido Diego Ordóñez, sabe fueron casados según orden de la Santa Iglesia; los vio hacer vida maridable y tuvieron por sus hijos legítimos a Francisca, Juana, José, a María, \"que se la llevó prisionera el enemigo\" (*), y Mariana, que está en la ciudad de México.
