El Capitán Don Fernando Ruiz de Córdova y Arellano, residente en este ingenio, revocó todos los poderes generales y especiales dados hasta el día de hoy, y por la presente, dio su poder cumplido al Alférez Don José de la Higuera Matamoros, su sobrino, para que en su nombre pida, reciba y cobre de cualesquier personas, todos los maravedíes, pesos de oro, plata, joyas, esclavos, ganados, haciendas y otros bienes que le fueren debidos.
