Doña María Josefa Zugadi, natural de la Nueva Veracruz, vecina de esta Villa, hija de los difuntos don José Zugadi y de doña Manuela Soltero del Toro, otorga su testamento. Ordena se sepulte conforme lo decidan sus albaceas, se apliquen por su alma 200 misas por la limosna de 8 reales. Contrajo matrimonio con don Juan de Bárcena a quien no dio dote, solamente los 1 000 pesos que él le donó y los 1 028 pesos 7 y 1/2 reales que le heredó su madre; procrearon seis hijos. Nombra por albaceas a su esposo Juan de Bárcena y a su sobrino José de Bárcena.
