Doña María de Jesús Acosta, viuda de don Bartolomé de Borja, vecina de Jalapa, declara que por testamento que hizo recíprocamente con su esposo, aparece una cláusula en la cual el difunto hace una imposición de 100 pesos a favor de la Cofradía del Señor de la Santa Veracruz, para que realicen misas a su alma, imponiendo dicha carga sobre una casa de su propiedad, labrada de paredes y cubierta de madera y tejas, ubicada en este pueblo, la cual linda con la Calle Real, con casas del Bachiller don Carlos Suárez y del Doctor José Suárez.
