El Licenciado Carlos Suárez, Presbítero y vecino del pueblo de Jalapa, albacea del difunto Joaquín Felipe Sarmiento, declara que la viuda de éste, la difunta doña Juana Cecilia Meléndez, vendió a don Pedro Miguel Santa Ana Cagigas, alías Cagigas, una casa de paredes y teja, ubicado en el mismo pueblo, con un solar de 26 varas de frente y 60 varas de fondo, el cual linda al oriente con la calle que baja de molino y solar de María de los Dolores Rodríguez, al sur con casa de don Francisco Maniau y Ortega, al poniente con una calle sesgada que sube a la Ciénega, para salir a las gradas del Convento de San Francisco y al norte con solar de Juan Romero, pero sin las escrituras correspondientes al citado Pedro, por lo que hace la presente declaración para que tenga validez y sirva como tal.
