El Reverendo Padre Fray Gerardo Zavaleta, Prior actual del Convento Hospital de la Purísima Concepción, de esta Villa de Xalapa y de la Provincia de San Hipólito Mártir, otorga que se obliga a que en el hospital, en el día de su cargo y por término de 5 años, admita para su curación a todos los enfermos del ejército que a él vayan, y por cada estancia ha de pagar la Real Hacienda 2 reales y 3 granos por las que causen los sargentos, cabos, tambores y soldados, para que con el descuento de 3 granos la Real Hacienda pueda pagar el desembolso.
