Don José de Ceballos y Burgos, dueño de este ingenio, hijo legitimo del Capitán Don Roque Gutiérrez de Ceballos y de Doña Ana María de Irala[Ana de Irala], difuntos, cuya herencia tienen aceptada, como cesionario de sus hermanos en la que pertenece de sus abuelos maternos(Pedro de Irala y Catalina Pérez Molero), dio su poder cumplido Fray Boecio de Ceballos, religioso del señor Santo Domingo y conventual del Convento de la ciudad de Los Angeles, su hermano, para que en su nombre pida a los albaceas y a quien con derecho deba, la división de los bienes que quedaron por fin y muerte de sus abuelos Pedro de Irala y Catalina Pérez Molero, como hijo legitimo de Doña Ana María de Irala.
