Tomás Miguel de Campo, dueño de recua, vecino del pueblo de Jalapa, otorga poder a José del Rosario, negro esclavo suyo, para que en su nombre pueda administrar su recua por los precios que asiente su fletamento, con las obligaciones, hipotecas y estilos que se acostumbran, así como a entregar las mercaderías, oro, plata, joyas o lo que encuentre y por bien tuviere en todas las partes, ciudades, villas y lugares que asentare con la fidelidad que se practica, así también pueda acomodar mozos y sirvientes por los salarios que a él le parecieren, pueda comprar mulas para aumento de ellas y siendo fiadas obligarlo a pagar.
