Don Jaime Clareda, de San Pedro Tatatila, informa de la existencia de una mina de oro, plata magistral u otro metal cualquiera, nombrada nuestra señora de Guadalupe y que han descubierto en tierra virgen, como a legua y media del dicho pueblo de Tatatila, en el cerro llamado Nopaltepec, a poca distancia del río Grande, que pasa debajo de oriente a poniente, por lo que denuncia y registra todas las minas, fondas, catas y catillas que se encuentren en sus pertenencias, y dado que se encuentra desierta y despoblada, pide se le concedan los sitios necesarios para hacer hacienda, comederos, abrevaderos, entradas y salidas, usos y costumbres y servidumbre necesaria.
