Doña Juana Vega, residente en esta Villa de Xalapa, viuda del finado don José Morenza, Capitán que fue del Real Cuerpo de Artillería, otorga poder especial a doña Laureana Morenza y Vega, para que a nombre de ella, se presente ante el Excelentísimo Señor Virrey y pida se sirva concederle las gracias y mercedes que tengan a bien conferirle, haciendo manifestación así de los méritos y servicios del referido su marido, como los de su hijo don Rafael Morenza, Teniente que fue del mismo real cuerpo, así como de su estado de viudez e insolvencia en que se halla; haciendo al efecto todas las manifestaciones, actos, agencias y diligencias que convengan. También se lo otorga para que perciba y recaude de cualquiera, bienes, cuentas, o papeles de interés que haya dejado por su fallecimiento el citado Morenza.
