Don Antonio Apolbón, vecino del pueblo de Jalapa, con poder del Teniente don Antonio Primo de Rivera, de fecha 21 de enero de 1751, otorga en arrendamiento a don Carlos Roso, vecino de este pueblo, un sitio de ganado mayor nombrado Los Méganos, el cual linda al oriente con el mar, al norte y poniente con la hacienda de Espanta Judíos, y al norte con las mismas tierras, por el periodo de 7 años, con una paga de 40 pesos por cada año.
