Francisco Julián de Ochoa, en voz de María Antonia de la Mota, viuda de Manuel Antonio de Cid, comparece para hacer registro de una veta o criadero de oro, plata, cobre o de cualquier otro metal, que se halla en el cerro de Chemeloguacán en una loma pelada, con un arroyo y al pie de dicha loma un río que llaman Sarmiento, de cuyos metales presenta pedazos. Por lo que dicho otorgante pide sea registrada con todas sus gracias y privilegios, poniéndole a dicha mina el nombre de Nuestra Señora del Carmen y San Jerónimo.
