Don Miguel Eustaquio Cardeña, Escribano Real y Público Interino de esta Villa de Xalapa, hijo de los difuntos don Diego Cardeña y doña Agustina de la Barreda Gayón, otorga poder para testar a su esposa doña María Isabel de Echeagaray y a su hermano Narciso José de Echeagaray, para que cumplan su testamento, en donde declara fue casado en primeras nupcias con doña Nicolasa Gallardo Muñiz de Cámara, quien no llevó nada al matrimonio y él tenía como 5, 000 pesos, procrearon 5 hijos; por segunda vez se casó con doña María Isabel de Echeagaray, que tampoco llevó nada al matrimonio, y él tenía 5, 000 pesos, procrearon 4 hijas, nombra herederos a sus hijos del primer y segundo matrimonio.
