Doña María de la Concepción Rivas, doncella mayor de 25 años, otorga poder general a don Antonio Sánchez, vecino y del comercio de la Antigua Veracruz, para que en su nombre como heredera instituida de su difunto hermano, don José María Rivas, casado que fue con doña Sebastiana Barrios, de quien no tuvo sucesores, y como acreedora que es la otorgante al capital y mitad de los bienes sobre habidos en dicho matrimonio, pueda dicho apoderado recibir y cobrar de manera judicial o extrajudicial del albacea o albaceas, heredero administrador y demás personas que deban entregar y satisfacer la porción hereditaria que le corresponda y pertenezca de los bienes del citado su difunto hermano.
