Don José Antonio y don Juan Francisco de Bárcena, de este comercio y vecindad, como albaceas de su finado padre don Juan de Bárcena, otorgan poder general a don Martín Sánchez y Serrano, hermano de los otorgantes, vecino y del comercio de la Nueva Veracruz, para que en sus nombre y representando la testamentaria que esta al cargo de ambos cobre judicial o extrajudicialmente, todas las cantidades de dinero, oro, plata, joyas, esclavos, mercaderías, géneros, bienes, muebles, raíces y otros que le deban a la dicha testamentaria. Y para que lo defienda en todos sus pleitos, causa y negocios civiles o criminales, eclesiásticos o seculares.
