Don Juan José Darget y don Ángel Herrero, vecinos del comercio de Veracruz, dijeron que el 26 de julio de 1804, establecieron en la Ciudad de la Nueva Veracruz, la Compañía denominada Darget y Herrero, con capital de 20 000 pesos y por el término de 6 años, bajo las condiciones que se mencionan en copias que firmaron, pero debido a las circunstancias de guerra existentes, ambos socios han determinado disolver dicha compañía, acordando no reclamar cosa alguna.
