Para la información que tiene ofrecida, Francisco Hernández presentó por testigos a Francisco de Orduña, mulato libre, vecino de Jalapa y siendo preguntado dijo que conoce a quien lo presenta desde hace más de 50 años, y en todo ese tiempo ha poseído unas tierras y un rancho junto al pueblo de Santiago Ayahualulco, y en ellas ha sembrado sus milpas y pastado sus ganados, sin contradicción de persona alguna, comúnmente lo llaman rancho Soquitlán.
