Don Francisco Javier Fernández de Ulloa, vecino y del comercio de la Villa de Xalapa, actual Ministro Hermano Mayor de la Venerable Orden Tercera de Nuestro Señor San Francisco, dijo que don Manuel de Olmedo y Araciel, difunto, en virtud de poder de don Francisco de Echebeste, fundó una capellanía el 1 de diciembre de 1751 con el principal de 3, 000 y cargo de 15 misas rezadas al año, cuyo patronato esta vacante por muerte de su instituyente, por lo que en nombre de la Venerable Orden Tercera nombra como capellán a don Juan Esteban de Eguía y Olmedo.
