Juan Martín de Ortigosa y su esposa, Catalina Monte[Montes], vecinos de la nueva ciudad de la Veracruz, fueron nombrados administradores de la Venta de la Rinconada por el arrendatario Miguel Arias, vecino de la ciudad de México, según la cláusula contenida en la escritura de arrendamiento que firmó Cristóbal de Molina, administrador general del Marquesado del Valle, y se obligaron a pagar al referido Miguel Arias, 300 pesos de oro común anuales de renta durante seis años y a cumplir las condiciones señaladas en la escritura de arrendatario.
