Don José María Prieto y Quintero, Teniente del Batallón Provincial de Infantería de Guanajuato, residente en esta Villa, otorga poder especial a don Mariano José Giral, destinado en la Secretaría del Virreinato, para que en su representación perciba y cobre judicial o extrajudicialmente del Real Tribunal de Minería de la Capital de México, los réditos que le adeuda respecto de un 5% desde julio de 1812 sobre el principal de 9 000 pesos; así también se lo da para que a nombre de sus hermanas doña Isabel Jara y doña Laureana Quintero gestione la recaudación de lo que les corresponde a su favor en el mismo tribunal.
