El Licenciado Juan Bernardo Díaz Mier, Clérigo Presbítero Domiciliario del Obispado de la Puebla, vecino de Jalapa, hijo y heredero del difunto don Domingo Díaz Mier, en nombre de sus hermanos coherederos, otorga libertad a un esclavo negro nombrado José Ignacio, de 47 años de edad de color negro, junto con otra esclava de nombre Antonia Teresa, de 61 años de edad, para que ya libertos puedan parecer en juicio, hacer su testamento y todo lo que puedan hacer las personas libres.
