Don Diego Melchor Gutiérrez, residente en esta villa, dijo que el 16 de este mes y año, otorgó su testamento ante el presente escribano, disponiendo en él cuanto tuvo por conveniente y fue su voluntad, y siendo igualmente que se cumpla con una manda y un legado que va expresar a continuación por medio de este codicilo: 1.º Que se inviertan 200 pesos para otras tantas misas por su alma y por todas del purgatorio, las cuales deben celebrarse en la iglesia parroquial del pueblo de Ixhuacán. 2.º Que a su sobrina Ramona Ruiz se le den por única vez 42 pesos por vía de legado. Finalmente ordena que se cumpla y ejecute como si se hubiese expresado en dicho testamento, el cuál ratifica y aprueba en todo los demás que contiene.
