Don José Mariano Muñiz de Cámara, natural de la jurisdicción de la Antigua, doctrina de Actopan, y vecino en el rancho el Zetal de la misma jurisdicción y doctrina, hijo legítimo de don Sebastián Muñiz de Cámara y de doña Justa Margarita Barradas, vivos, otorga su testamento donde nombra como albaceas testamentarias y fideicomisarias a su esposa doña Antonia Palmeros, al padre del otorgante don Sebastián, y a su hermano don José Luis Palmeros. Nombra a su esposa tutora de sus tres hijas menores de edad, y como herederas universales a dichas sus tres hijas. Tiene entre sus bienes un rancho que compró en 461 pesos, un trapiche bueno con 4 fondos, una resfriadera, 7 mulas, 5 machos, 2 yuntas de bueyes, 6 caballos, 6 yeguas y 10 vacas, más una casa que fabricó en el dicho rancho.
