Juan José de Thormes, vecino del pueblo de Jalapa, dijo que siendo mayor de 14 y menor de 25 años, habiendo contraído matrimonio estando bajo la tutela de Juan Rodríguez de Tejada, su cuñado, vecino de la Ciudad de la Puebla de los Ángeles, quien se ha hecho cargo de su legítima, pero le es preciso solicitar se le entregue por hallarse apto y capaz para administrarlos, además de tener a su madre viva y parientes cercanos que lo orienten, otorga poder especial a don Francisco de Paredes, vecino de la Ciudad de México, para que en su representación parezca ante la Real Audiencia, Chancillería Real y ante el Virrey, para que pida se le mande entregar su legítima que tiene a su cargo Juan Rodríguez.
