El Capitán Sebastián de la Higuera Matamoros, residente en su ingenio de Nuestra Señora de la Concepción, dio su poder cumplido a su mayordomo Cornelio Francisco Prite, para que en compañía de su agente Bartolomé Rodríguez, entreguen la estancia de labor nombrada Santiago, en la jurisdicción de San Juan de los Llanos, con su pertrechos de casas, ganados, aperos, semillas, y todo lo demás anexo, con los indios, gañanes y laboríos que hubieren quedado, a Benito Fernández, su mayordomo en la estancia de San Roque, linde con la de Santiago, en virtud de haber muerto su administrador Diego Vicioso.
