La señora doña María de la Soledad Alegre de Verna, viuda del Teniente Coronel de Artillería don Francisco Javier Verna, madre y tutora legítima de sus menores hijos Manuel, Juan, María Trinidad, Isabel y María del Rosario Verna y Alegre, mayor de edad y residente en esta ciudad, que como tal viuda de nominado Verna y tutora legítima de sus referidos hijos otorga poder al presbítero don Vicente Méndez, vecino de Campeche, para que gestione lo conducente a la recaudación y seguridad de los intereses que existen en aquel punto o en cualquier otros, pertenecientes al finado Verna, promoviendo la venta de ellos por los precios y de la manera que estime conveniente.
