Don Juan Francisco de los Reyes, natural de la Ciudad de Manila en las Islas Filipinas y de tránsito en este pueblo de Jalapa, hijo legítimo de los difuntos don Ventura de los Reyes y de doña Sebastiana de Guzmán, otorga su testamento donde ordena sea sepultado en la iglesia del Convento de San Francisco, se digan en el convento 60 misas por su alma; declara ser soltero y no tener hijos, nombra como albacea a don Felipe de la Maza Alvarado, y como herederos a sus hermanos carnales Nicolás Hilario de los Reyes, Cristóbal Ventura de los Reyes y Miguel de los Reyes, vecinos de Manila.
