El Licenciados Alonso Pérez de Herrera presentó por testigo a Domingo Díaz Costa, vecino de Jalapa y residente en las minas de San Pedro, del cual se recibió juramento y prometió decir la verdad, siéndole presentado el escrito en modo de testamento, dijo que conoció y trató mucho a Pedro de Betancurt, dueño de la Venta de las Vigas, y el 19 de mayo pasado del presente año, estuvo con él y le vio hacer su testamento por mano del Bachiller Jacinto de Herrera, su confesor, el cual firmó por el otorgante.
