El gobernador de San Andrés Tlanelhuayocan, Don Miguel Ramírez; y sus alcaldes Don Juan Pérez y Don Juan Francisco, dijeron que en cumplimiento de una real cédula de Su Majestad, el Capitán Don Nicolás Alejandro de Meza, Alcalde Mayor de Jalapa, les concertó por maestro de la escuela de su pueblo a Don Tomás de Valencia, vecino de Jalapa, durante un lapso de tres años, a partir del 23 del corriente, al precio de 80 pesos anuales, una fanega de maíz cada mes, y un huevo los muchachos el viernes, y otro los sábados las muchachas; más 3 reales cada semana para chile, sal y otras cosas.
