Fray Miguel de Marimón, religioso profeso del Sagrado Orden del Señor San Hipólito, Prior actual del Convento, otorga en arrendamiento al Bachiller Tomás de Malpica, Clérigo Presbítero de este Obispado, 2 caballerías y media de tierra, que colinda al oriente con tierras del bachiller, al poniente con el atajo que llaman de las cabezas que va desde la venta por el monte, al norte con otras tierras del Hospital, y al sur con barrancos de los asumiates en tierras del Capitán Juan de Malpica. Asimismo otro sitio de ganado menor que llaman Agua de los Potros, linda al oriente y norte con tierras del Bachiller, al poniente con tierras de don Fernando Bazán de Otero, al sur con las del Capitán Juan Méndez; el arrendamiento se hace por 3 años, en 45 pesos por cada uno.
