Don Manuel González de Chacho y Mier, hijo legitimo de don Francisco González de Chacho y de doña María de Mier, difuntos, natural de Turieno, lugar de la Provincia de Liébana, Obispado de León en los Reinos de Castilla y vecino de Jalapa, otorga su testamento donde declara que hace 28 años vino a este reino de Nueva España en donde se ha dedicado al comercio y ejercicio de viandante, con cuyo giro ha llegado a conseguir los bienes que le pertenecen, los cuales asciende a 14,000 a 15,000 pesos entre efectos, bienes muebles y dinero que le deben, pues no es propietario de bienes raíces. Nombra como albaceas a don Juan Bocelo y a don Juan Gómez de Estrada, a quienes también nombra como sus herederos.
