José Antonio de Zárate, vecino del pueblo de Jalapa, con poder para testar otorgado a su favor por su difunto padre Antonio Manuel Ortiz de Zárate; procede a realizar el testamento de dicho difunto, en el cual además del citado poder, lo nombró como albacea y heredero en compañía de doña Micaela Josefa de Acosta, su legítima madre, y de Manuel Antonio, hermano del declarante, mencionando algunas deudas del difunto y como bienes una casa de paredes y tejas con el ajuar de su servicio en la Calle Nueva, otra en el puente de Techacapa y un banco de herrador con su herramienta.
