Don Juan de Thormes, vecino de Jalapa, dio su poder cumplido al Capitán Iñigo de Asturis, vecino del puerto de la Guaira, y en su ausencia, al Capitán Don Pedro de Miquilena, vecino de dicho puerto, para que en su nombre pidan, reciban y cobren de Don Gaspar Márquez de Valenzuela, de sus bienes y herederos, mil pesos de oro común, que de cuenta del otorgante le entregó en la Nueva Veracruz, el Capitán Don Gaspar de Herrera, para que los emplease en cacao y lo trajese a dicho Don Gaspar de Herrera.
