Don José Julián Gutiérrez, vecino de Veracruz, de cuya persona testificaron don Nicolás Vázquez y don Domingo Rica; otorga poder general al Licenciado don Ramón María Terán, vecino de esta ciudad, residente en la de Veracruz, para que en su representación pida y tome cuentas a todas las personas que le deban; así mismo, recibiendo y cobrando el alcance que resulte en favor del otorgante. Y de lo que recibiese y cobrase otorgue recibos, cartas, pago y demás documentos que le fueren pedidos. También lo otorga para que lo defienda en todos sus pleitos y negocios civiles y criminales que tenga pendientes y en adelante se le ofreciere; y si fuere necesario pueda parecer y parezca ante todos los tribunales superiores e inferiores, eclesiásticos, militares o civiles.
