Doña María Josefa de Vieira, residente en esta Villa, viuda del finado don Manuel Antonio del Valle, que fue del comercio de la Nueva Veracruz, otorga poder general a don Manuel de Cano y Valle, vecino y del comercio de la Capital de México, para que a nombre de ella, demande, perciba y cobre judicial o extrajudicialmente de cualquier persona, y de quien más haya lugar, las cantidades de dinero que se le estén debiendo a la fecha y debiesen en adelante. Y para que la defienda en todos sus pleitos, causas y negocios civiles o criminales, eclesiásticos o seculares. Si por lo antes mencionado se requiriese contienda de juicio lo siga.
