Juan Montañés de la Cueva, vecino de este pueblo, Mayordomo de la Cofradía de Jesús, dijo que dicha cofradía posee desde tiempos inmemoriales, un solar en este pueblo en la Plaza de los Barrios Altos, que tiene de frente 20 y cuarta varas, por donde linda dicha plazuela frente de la Casa del Rey, al fondo con la barranca que llaman de Xallitic por donde tiene 53 ½ varas por el costado del poniente y solar de Juan de los Santos, al lado del oriente con la cerca de Juana Ochoa rematando en dicha barranca un jirón más largo que el del costado del poniente, propiedad que vende a María Díaz de Acosta, libre de empeño, al precio de 200 pesos.
