Doña Francisca Díaz Matamoros, vecina de esta jurisdicción, viuda de Juan de la Calleja, declaró haber recibido de Juan Lopéz Ruiz, residente en este ingenio, 1,183 pesos y 7 tomines de oro común, en diferentes partidas, que restaban de la escritura de venta que su marido le hizo de la mitad del ingenio de Maxtlatlán, y con esta cantidad terminó de pagar el valor en que se celebró el trato, pues Juan Lopéz Ruiz ha pagado otras cantidades a los herederos de Cristobal Martín Matamoros que tenía parte en la mitad del ingenio.
