José Francisco Espejo, vecino de esta Villa, marido y conjunta persona de Ana Rafaela Antúnez, con licencia de dicho su marido, otorgan poder especial a don Francisco Antonio de la Peña, vecino del pueblo de Misantla, para que en sus nombres demande judicial o extrajudicialmente a Miguel Méndez, de aquella misma vecindad, un hijo que la citada Ana Rafaela tuvo antes de su matrimonio, nombrado Manuel que a la fecha tendrá 14 años de edad, hijo de Juan Antonio, natural del mismo pueblo, para lo cual han convenido ambos consortes a recibirlo en su poder, darle cristiana educación y honrado destino.\t
