Don Juan de Castro, para la dicha información presentó por testigo a Don Domingo de Oliver, español, vecino de Jalapa, y siendo preguntado, dijo que conoció a José López Osorio, a sus padres Don José López Osorio y Doña Francisca Domínguez de Arellano, los cuales fueron marido y mujer legítimos, y en su matrimonio procrearon como tal hijo a José López Osorio; no conoció a sus abuelos paternos, pero sí a sus abuelos maternos Don Alonso Domínguez y Doña Felipa de Arellano, que fueron españoles, cristianos viejos y limpios de toda mala raza de moros, judíos, ni de los nuevamente convertidos a nuestra Santa Fe Católica, ni penitenciados por el Santo Oficio de la Inquisición.
