Don Sebastián de la Higuera Matamoros, dueño de este ingenio de hacer azúcar, dio su poder cumplido al Lic. Andrés Juárez de Arce, presbítero, vecino de la ciudad de Los Ángeles, para que en su nombre ajuste [de cuentas] y liquide con su tía Doña Beatriz Márquez de Amarilla, vecina de la ciudad de México, viuda de Juan Castillete, sobre los réditos de un censo cargado en esta hacienda y los daños de una escritura de 20 065 pesos de oro común que le debe, que pasó ante Luis de Valdivieso, escribano real, el cual haga desde el 1° de enero de 1641, fecha del último ajustamiento que ambos hicieron.
