Don Pedro Jacinto de Tovar, natural de la Isla de León, Obispado de Cádiz en los Reinos de Castilla y residente en el pueblo de Jalapa, hijo legítimo de los difuntos don Andrés Jacinto de Tovar y de doña Mariana Rodríguez Cabezas, casado en primeras nupcias con doña Rita de Ardila y en segundas nupcias con Luisa Ortega, otorga poder para testar a Manuel Vicente de la Barrera, Cura, Vicario y Juez Eclesiástico de esta Doctrina, nombra a Alonso José Gatica, Presbítero de este pueblo, como su albacea y como heredero a Andrés, hijo legítimo del segundo matrimonio.
