Don José Antonio Lasa, vecino y del comercio de la Nueva Veracruz, residente en esta Villa, otorga poder general a favor de don Manuel García de la Mata, ausente, a don Manuel Serapio Calvo, ambos vecinos de la misma Ciudad de Veracruz, para que a nombre de él, demanden, perciban y cobren judicial o extrajudicialmente de cualquier persona y de quien más haya lugar, las cantidades de dinero que se le estén debiendo a la fecha y debiesen en adelante. Y para que lo defiendan en todos sus pleitos, causas y negocios civiles o criminales, eclesiásticos o seculares. Si por lo antes mencionado se requiriese contienda de juicio lo sigan.
