Brígida Antonia de Torres, natural del pueblo de Acatzingo y vecina de la Villa de Xalapa, hija de José Torres y de Paula Reyes, difuntos, otorga su testamento de la siguiente manera: declara fue casada con Manuel Casas, difunto, de cuyo matrimonio tiene un hijo nombrado José Agustín Casas de edad de 22 años, baldado de un brazo y cuasi inocente. Nombra por su albacea a don José de Zárate, artista platero de esta vecindad, y respecto a la incapacidad de su hijo José Agustín nombra a su albacea por tutor y tenedor de la persona y bienes de dicho su hijo y como único y universal heredero nombra a su hijo. Tiene entre sus bienes la casa de su morada y su ajuar
