El Capitán Don Fernando Ruiz de Córdoba y Arellano, dueño del ingenio de Maxtlatlán, se obligó a pagar al beneficiado del partido de Jalapa, Don Juan de Bañuelos Cabeza de Vaca, y a quien por Don Diego de Gamboa, su menor, fuere parte legítima, 1000 pesos de oro común de los réditos de una capellanía y de la parte materna que le cupo, que están cargados a censo en el dicho ingenio, y hoy le ha devuelto a pedimento del otorgante, por no tener necesidad el menor, con calidad de que ganarán el 5 por ciento anual de réditos y le serán devueltos cuando se los pidan.
