Don Lorenzo Benito Álvarez de Guzmán y doña Gertrudis Jacinta García de Baldemora, marido y mujer, compraron a los naturales de este pueblo de Jalapa, un solar de 82 varas de frente y 56 varas de fondo, en el cual construyeron una casa de piedra, cal y lodo, de donde venden un solar de 33 varas de frente, a Antonio Díaz Parraga, vecino de este pueblo, en la cantidad de 650 pesos mexicanos.
