Doña Eugenia Francisca de Amilibia Guraya y Lezama, tutora y curadora de Doña Josefa Petronila de la Higuera Matamoros, sucesora en el Mayorazgo de la Higuera y otras haciendas, y como patrona de la capellanía que instituyeron sus bisabuelos Don Juan Díaz Matamoros y Doña Magdalena Díaz, y respecto de haber quedado vacante dicha capellanía por muerte del Doctor Don Pedro de Gorospe, canónigo penitenciario de la Catedral de la ciudad de Los Ángeles, su último capellán, y usando del derecho de dicho patronato, nombró por capellán propietario al Bachiller Don Miguel de Ceballos, su sobrino, clérigo de menores órdenes, vecino de la ciudad de Los Ángeles, para que sirva dicha capellanía.
