Ante el Corregidor don Antonio de Monroy Figueroa, compareció Tomás de Rojas, dueño de carros, quien manifestó llevar en ellos 50 pipas de vino, en virtud de dos certificaciones firmadas por los jueces oficiales reales en la Nueva Veracruz, el 29 de diciembre de 1638, para entregar en la ciudad de México al Capitán Matías Rodríguez y a don Juan de Montemayor, cuya imposición monta 1 250 pesos que quedaron metidos en la Real Caja.
