Tomás de Rojas, hijo de Juan de Rojas, dueño de carros, vecino de la ciudad de los Ángeles, manifestó dirigirse hacia la Nueva Veracruz y llevar en servicio de sus carros a los siguientes indios e indias: Miguel y Francisca, su mujer; Lucas, soltero; Diego y Catalina, su mujer; Juan Diego, soltero; Melchor e Inés, su mujer; Nicolasillo, muchacho; Agustincillo, soltero; Dieguillo, soltero; Juan, soltero; Juan, muchacho, soltero; Juan, indio, soltero; Juan y Ana, su mujer; Diego y Jerónima, su mujer; Melchorillo, muchacho; Juana, india, viuda. Asimismo, el corregidor le notificó que a los indios debe dársele buen tratamiento, no servirse de ellos contra su voluntad y pagarles por su trabajo.
