Juan Ruiz, mayordomo y administrador de la cuadrilla de carros de Diego García Caballero, vecino de la ciudad de los Ángeles, manifestó bajar hacia la Nueva Veracruz y llevar en servicio de sus carros los indios e indias siguientes: Francisco, Capitán, y Mila, su mujer; Joseph [José] y María, su mujer; Juanillo, soltero; Mateguelo, su mujer se quedó arriba; Diego, soltero; Cholula Juan y María, su mujer; Melchorillo y Marta, su mujer; Felipe y Francisca, su mujer; Juanillo, pastor, soltero; Juanillo, muchacho; Andrés y María, su mujer; Juanillo Quintero, muchacho. Asimismo, el corregidor le notificó que a los indios debe dársele buen tratamiento, no servirse de ellos contra su voluntad y pagarles por su trabajo conforme a lo dispuesto y ordenado por Su Majestad.
